Cutting leaves a mat of green drifting toward your shoreline. We build this rake to gather that drift before the wind scatters it across the cove. Work it by hand along the dock, or snap on the floats and heave it out past the drop to skim the surface.

Surface skimming with floats

Snap the floats onto the head when you need to gather cut drift. The teeth ride high enough to corral floating mats and drag them back to the dock before they sink.

Digging the bottom

Pull the floats off and the aluminum head sinks down into the silt. Sharp teeth bite into rooted stalks, muck, and bottom debris so you can drag the mass ashore.

Handle or rope throw

Work the extended handle for close reach along the seawall, or tie off the rope to cast the head out deep. Retrieval takes steady arm work, pass by pass.

Folding for the shed

The wide head folds flat once the lake work is done. It leans out of the way on a shed wall, or stays out to grade sand along the shoreline.
