A smaller pond or a tight slip between boat lifts does not need our widest blade. We built this lighter head so you can toss it into close quarters, let it sink to the bottom, and pull it straight back through the stalks. It opens up water without fighting heavy drag.
Tight pocket cuts
The narrower frame slips between dock posts and tight shoreline bends. You can drop it into weed patches that give wider tools trouble and slice right through thick stems.
The sinking throw
Toss the head past the weeds and give the rope slack so the blades settle on the pond bed. A steady pull brings the edges through milfoil, lily pads, and tough grasses.
What rides along
We pack the steel head with its rope and blade covers. It leaves out the deflectors and sharpener from our larger kit, keeping the box straightforward and ready to work.
Gathering the stalks
The cut vegetation floats right up after the pass. You will still need to rake those cuttings out of the water before the wind pushes the mass back against your shore.
