Cutting the weeds is only half the afternoon. What floats loose will drift into the neighbors slip or sink back down to rot, so we build this wide aluminum rake to drag the mess up onto dry ground. You can work it by the handle near the dock or toss the head out on its rope.
Pulling the cut stalks
The wide head catches loose stems before the wind scatters them across the bay. You drag the mass inward by the handle or haul it hand over hand from the shoreline.
Four handle sections
We supply the handle in four aluminum sections so you choose the reach for the depth of your shallows. Powder coating keeps the metal smooth in wet hands.
Rope for deep throws
Clip the nylon line to the head when the cut weed bed sits past your wading depth. Toss the rake past the patch, let it settle, and pull the load back to shore.
Working along the bank
Dragging wet vegetation creates heavy piles that need to sit and dry out on the grass. The aluminum build keeps the repetitive throws from wearing you out before the pile is hauled.
